About this section

The Patient Safety Section’s aim is to provide comprehensive and topical information related to patient safety and to promote the development of the patient safety agenda. The Section also serves as a forum for discussion and debate concerning all aspects of the delivery of safe care. The Section works to increase understanding of risk management, why adverse events occur, the resolution of clinical disputes and legal claims.

Section Council members

Section meetings and conferences are usually organised by members of the Section Council, led by the Section President and often in collaboration with specialist societies.
