About this section

The Urology Section’s purpose is to provide a forum to promote the study and practice of Urology to all healthcare professionals and their students. The aim of the academic programme is to help members and guests provide excellent care for their patients and support for their colleagues.


The Section's activities provide a strong peer network supporting members personal development through informal mentorship. The Section maintains links with many organisations in the UK and overseas giving opportunities to teach and learn in a variety of settings.

Section Council members

Section meetings and conferences are usually organised by members of the Section Council, led by the Section President and often in collaboration with specialist societies.
