For its 15th year, the aspiring plastics, reconstructive and aesthetic surgery (APRAS) national conference for medical students and junior doctors interested in a career in plastic surgery, will be held at The Royal Society of Medicine.
The conference aims to teach students and junior doctors the key components of plastic, reconstructive and aesthetic surgery (PRAS), as well as provide them with useful career advice as they plan for the future.
The morning session endeavours to cover subspecialties in PRAS through high-quality, interactive lectures delivered by eminent surgeons from around the country. In the second part of the day, attendees will partake in a practical session on suturing, local flaps and tendon repair to improve their skills in plastic surgery techniques.
There will also be the chance to win a national prize for best research presentation.
